I became interested in the Fluke 8000 series of vintage multi-meters many years ago and obtained a used meter for my work bench in 2000.  It became, and remains, one of my main test instruments on the work bench.  This professional multi-meter is working to this day after some 22 years of service.  Its calibration has not changed enough to warrant removing the instrument from its case, and has demonstrated the Fluke engineering, design, reliability and dependability over the years.

I was able to purchase a quantity of 8000A and 8600A Fluke meters in 2008.  At that time, I began an earnest refurbished program on these meters.  The plan was to  restore the meters, as close as possible, to their original operational conditions including parameter calibrated using laboratory standards.  My first series of refurbished Fluke Multi-Meters were introduced to public in 2012.  Today, this series of Fluke meters along with the 8010A, 8012A and 8050A meters continues to be part of the HamWears product inventory.  In continued support, I maintain a repair and calibration service for these Fluke Multi-Meters.
